Eastvale is a small city located near Norco and Chino Hills, California. It is where I lived when both my kids were born. The city is very new and has lots of fun parks with water features. Nearby you can still see farms that are operating. Sometimes you can still smell the Cow farms. Most of the houses are new construction with large yards and lots of bathrooms. It is a unique community, because everyone knows their neighbors. They either talk to them faces to faces or online. Yes, online message boards. Either way when there is police activity everyone will know in seconds what is happening. You could be at work in Orange, but have your pulse on what is happening in your neighborhood with the online neighborhood message boards. I think it is the best place to raise a family, because there is lots of community involvement. The Eastvale I know and love is a place where you can count on your neighbor to watch your house. You go to the grocery store and you see people you know. Target employees know you by name and tell you about the specials. Yes, there is a Cafe. Flo's Cafe at the Chino airport still serves old fashion meals. Play dates and family/neighbor gatherings are a daily occurrence. I used to have my neighbors over for tacos or just for coffee. Sometimes they would bring veggies from their garden or I would give them homemade salsa. There was friendships formed in the community. Yes, you guessed it, we had Bunco parties, Tupperware parties, Stamping and so on. Living in Eastvale meant that my kids could count on the community to support them in their school drives. For these reasons I believe that Eastvale is a great place to raise a family with a support system.
Lately, I have been missing Eastvale and it's people. I know most Inland Empire folks think I am nuts, because it is over 101 degrees. But looking back on all those hot summers, I realized that I had great moments with my friends, neighbors and family even though the weather was super hot. The people of Eastvale made the community a great place to live. If you ever decided to move to a great place with a small airport (Chino and Ontario Airport) take a look at Eastvale. Eastvale is a great place to a raise family.
